This movie is a great one if you love a fiction story which is involving magics and also a bit of science facts. The plot of this movie was a romantic and cool one. Mostly magics are around this movie. I love the way Nicholas Cage ( as Balthazar Blake ) as a teacher to teach his student or it's called apprentice in this story. The apprentice name is Dave. On this movie, Dave is a geek one and I think he's too talkative and scared which sometimes annoyed me. However, the ending was great. I don't have to tell you how was the ending goes, but you should watch it and enjoy it.
Below is the summary from IMDB website:
Summary
Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It'll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
